Stumping
The action of stump removal consists in gnawing a stump, tree or shrub, up to about 7-8 inches of hollow, so that they do not not grow back. In the case of a tree, the roots below this level will naturally decay.
As soon as the stump is finished, you can sow grass on top, or plant a shrub.
But for planting a tree, choose a location slightly offset at least.
